About LEGION Combatives:

The Combatives course teaches the "how to" as well as the "mindset" methodologies necessary to survive when things go wrong. The course emphasizes the techniques of deploying everything from a knife or pistol to a tactical carbine. The instructors focus on not only shooting and disarming techniques, but turning your body and mind into a weapon system as well.

What is taught is a form of over twenty combined years of law enforcement training and experience. The best up to date and non commercialized methods of combat tactics.

In the course you will learn:

• Empty Hand Techniques
  • (Including strikes, take-downs and small joint manipulation).
• Knife Defense and Offense
• Tactical Pistol
• Tactical Carbine

This course is not taught as a standard self defense "weapons" or "empty hand" class. There are no anecdotal fantasy scenarios. The student is pushed to their limit in real live fire training as well as classroom training. The student will be taught in a class setting on proper weapon manipulation as well as empty hand techniques. The student will then progress to live fire training at LEGION outdoor range.

Requirements:

All prospective students must be a members of the Combat Sambo class to be eligible to enroll in the Combatives course. Further details of the course will be explained to current members.
